About Experience Works! PLUS
The Experience Works! PLUS Post-Secondary Internship Program provides wages to college students ages 18 to 24 interning at unpaid internships. This program enables local employers to build a future workforce by giving post-secondary students the opportunity to explore careers in the local area.
Interns
Experience Works! PLUS provides valuable workforce experience and wages to young adults and exposes them to the many growing local workforce opportunities in Westmoreland and Fayette counties.
Employers
Experience Works! PLUS assists employers and their worksites by providing a no-cost option to implementing business improvements through internships. It additionally enables employers and worksites in building a future workforce by giving students the opportunity to explore careers that align with their interests.
Community
By displaying the opportunities that exist in the local area to interns and assisting employers and worksites with finding valuable talent, the Experience Works! PLUS program betters the community. Interns are presented with ways to remain and thrive in the area, and employers are benefited by the additional help.
