The Uniontown YouthBuild program graduated its first class on Wednesday, January 25, at the PA CareerLink - Fayette. Graduates, their families and Uniontown YouthBuild partner agencies were in attendance to congratulate the first class to complete the program.

The Westmoreland-Fayette Workforce Investment Board has been awarded a $3.3 million grant by the United States Department of Labor to fund “Re-Engineering Careers”. The Re-Engineering Careers program targets unemployed individuals for positions that are crucial for the Advanced Manufacturing industry and/or lie in the career path of key in-demand occupations for which companies in Southwestern Pennsylvania utilize the H1-B Visa program. |
