The Board and Its Committees

The Westmoreland-Fayette Workforce Investment Area is administered by a Board of Directors.  More than than half of the board members come from the private sector.  Other members come from community-based organizations, economic development agencies, education, labor and CareerLink program partners. All board members are appointed by their  respective Board of County Commissioners, i.e. Fayette County and Westmoreland County.

There are five standing committees - Executive, CareerLink, Marketing & Government Affairs, Finance and Youth Council.  Ad hoc committees are formed as necessary.
